Baylight Publishing began in Gloucester, MA on Cape Ann by ASCAP Songwriter and founder Mary Godfrey. Inspired by the many talented New England Songwriters, and the positive mentoring affects of her brother Todd Kelley (ESP Recording Artist, Music Mentor, and owner of TKR Records), Mary expanded. The Baylight Catalog includes Mary Godfrey original works, and compositions by other burgeoning writers. 

Baylight Publishing has released Two Compilation CDs, one of which led to a writer securing placement on Young and The Restless. While the Baylight Publishing Catalog's groupings are by songwriter collection, we also have completed collections in genre and subject matter. In promoting our songwriters, we often times are involved with the promotion of the writer as an artist. We are now doing with with our affiliate company Baylight Entertainment.
