On the Music Path ..
In 1996 Mary Godfrey started Baylight
Publishing Music & Media. Since its' formations she has written
feature music stories, produced several compilation CDs and sponsored several
industry showcases. Other previous experience includes managing bands,
stage sound & lighting, publicity, working for ASCAP and holding the
the post of Vice President for Women In Music (NARAS). Currently she has
a publishing agreement with the Phoenix based group, The WildAngelsBand
and is also accepting material to be used in film and television.
Through the Music Publishing division Mary encourages and assists
aspiring songwriters, while assisting music supervisors with their needs,
acting as a liaison between the two. The Baylight Mission is to be creative,
to service, to inspire and to be inspired in a fun, yet professional way.
All of this, with intention, with integrity and with honesty. To keep on
the path of one's inner calling, to keep with the spirit and keep on the
mission.
